Tire pressure alert
Just took delivery of my 2007 CLS 550 from a car buying service, so no dealer relationship yet, have 90 miles and received a tire pressure warning light, I assume it is because the weather has changed dramatically cold in the last three days, any advice on tire pressure for cold weather (less than 40 F)

Even though new, double-check your tires' pressure when cold. See the sticker on inside of your driver's door for pressure settings. Then, reset the monitor using your instrumtent cluster.

2007 CLS 550 and some other MBZ
Got mine brand new from MB dealer then a few days later the tire pressure warning came on and I found out one tire is down to only 22 while the opposite side is over inflated to 35! Ya, check all 4 tires yourself.

I had the exact same problem. The tire pressure warning came on less than a week after we picked up the car and turned to a red warning a few days later. I just happened to be driving in front of the dealership so I stopped in and the mechanic checked the tires and reset the warning indicator...took about 5 minutes.
I don't think it's a problem exclusive to the CLS either...our 2004 E500 had the same issue. Nonetheless, it's a very easy fix.
