Q about AMG exhaust on non AMG CLS..?

Q about AMG exhaust on non AMG CLS..?
I test drove an '06 CLS 500 Friday afternoon which was black/black with the AMG package consisting of AMG bodywork, wheels and dual chrome exhaust tips with "AMG" stamped on them... I was surprised to hear just how mellow that exhaust was on the CLS 500. I can't find anywhere in any brochure that states the AMG package on the CLS 500 includes an AMG exhaust... Does it or was I looking at a car with AMG "tips" only and thus stock exhaust...?

2007 CLS550, 2008 BMW 335, 2007 Harley Davidson Fat Boy
My CLS550 with the AMG kit has a single exhaust tip on each side (2 total) stamped "AMG". I believe AMG vehicles have exhausts with dual tips on each side (4 total).

You'd think for the cost of the AMG package that the exhaust would consist of more than simply "AMG" stamped on the tips... It certainly doesn't sound like anything more than a stock mellow exhaust...

AMG's do have four tips. Two duals.
Yes, the AMG are just the tips. I will confirm this on Thursday, I will be at the dealer then to get my temp sensor looked at.
Yes, the AMG for 5K should have more than just tips. IMO.
I had mentioned on another post that I thought Parktronic should be standard on the Benz with the E Class and on up in regards to the price we pay for them. They thought I had lost my marbles for saying that. My response was, what is wrong with asking more for your money? None of us own stock or own Benz, as customers we should and could control what comes with the cars if we demand. IDK, is something wrong with that?
Just checking...I thought customers were the reason for businesses to exist, if we demand more and stop buying, they will make changes or collapse.
