Help! Looking for the cabin filter in a 2007 CLS 550??
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows where the cabin filter is located in the 2007 CLS 550? Trying to avoid taking it into the dealers. Thanks in advance.

On the case...
In pursuit of finding out How To's on our CLS's I will look into this. So far I have found out how to:
1. Change the Fog Lights
2. Change the air filters
3. Change the oil
4. Retrain trans shifting
5. Install cargo nets
6. Next will be your cabin filter question!
If anyone knows any more How to areas, post them. I think we should have a sticky thread on this topic. This could save a lot of money on simple items!
Edit: I am on to something on the filter change. I will confirm findings and post back.

Found the filter. It's actually located under the hood, towards the passengerside firewall area. There are few nuts holding the cover, then the housing can be easily accessed/removed. The filter is then removed from the housing by bending the clips out of the way.
1. Engine bay shot. filter is on RH side of car (LH when viewing)
2. Filter housing cover. Held in by several plastic fasteners.
3. Filter housing needs to be removed by several nuts and clips.
4. Filter housing removed.
5. Filter housing out of vehicle with filter still installed. Remove by bending the housing to release clips that secure the filter.
Total time of R&R is about 10min if you take your time.
