AMG mufflers, how to make the sound louder?

I installed AMG mufflers on my CLS500 ana replace the resonetor with X-pipe but the sound still too low! almost nothing!
what can I do more to increase the sound?
I heard that there is silencers inside the AMG mufflers is it right? should I cut the mufflers and take off the silencers? or what can I do?

go straight pipe~ thats what i did to my CLS. it sounds loud and great. but remember, you may think it ain't that loud inside your car, but on the outside, its damn loud. mercedes got pretty good sound isolation.

good luck~

i will make a few clips of my exhaust later for you. but i custom made the whole catback system.

you loose some low end tq and get some high-end power. BTW, how does you car smell with the stright pipes? I did them to my Z and i could not stand the smell at stop-lights.
