For CLS daily drivers...how's the view?

My wife is moving from a clk500 and wants a new CLS550, but we just came back from a test drive and with the very low sloping rooflines, she felt like visibility was greatly reduced. She actually felt a little claustraphobic and she is not a big person. Is this a temporary situation and just takes getting used to? We really like the looks of the CLS and she now want a 4-door without the typical 4-door look.
Thanks for your input.

The view is something that definitely takes some getting used to. The blindspots on this car are horrible. The front is especially bad. The pillars take up a lot of your view. You just have to take a little bit more time when turning or pulling out of a parking spot. But the pro's far outweigh the cons of the car. I still recommend this car though.
