Reduce Engine Oil??

How often does this message come up for you guys?? I generally get it everytime I'm riding on the highway. I have no real idea what it is about. Will it cause any harm to my car??

2007 CLS 550 and some other MBZ

14,000 miles right now and I have never had to add oil myself. I would take it in to the dealer to make sure nothing is leaking.

it's not telling me to ADD oil it's telling me to REDUCE oil.

Did you take it in for a service? May be they over filled the engine oil?

No I haven't taken it in for service. My D service is coming up though so I'll make sure to ask them about it then.
