Used CLS -

Interested in a used CLS500/550/55 AMG. My spending cash is 50K max so I figure that the 55 AMG won't be an option -

What's the best scenario I can aim for when searching, in terms of year vs mileage and such?

You may get lucky with the 55 if you wait a few months.

2 CLS55 AMG's - $59K, 12K miles, and $56K, 33K miles respectively.

1 CLS550 07 - $53k, 6K miles.

This should help get a frame of reference on pricing/miles to expect. If you cannot get a price like that, consider eBay or come over to Atlanta! LOL.

That was two months ago, and these cars seem to depreciate pretty quick - say $500+ a month or so. We're also getting closer to when the 2009s come out, so...

Many CLS seem to be floating around right now, probably a combination of lease returns and owners changing it up. Seems a good time to buy, just make sure you get a good deal. With so many to choose from you can always walk away from a fussy dealer.

Also, keep in mind that these are auction prices.

I plan to seriously look and switch around the summer time so I'll keep the 55 in mind...I really want one!
