CLS, imitated, never duplicated

I have to say this:

Have you guys ever noticed how many car makers attempt to copy the CLS?

The list is impressive:

1. Aston Martin - Too expensive, not enough gotta have it factor.
2. Jaguar - XF does not cut it to me. Sorry! A rotary dial as a shifter?
3. Porsche - Not even out yet, but from what I see..I don't feel it.
4. BMW - 8 series anyone? Hello?

Despite the power of an M3/M5 any CLS (500/550/55/63) still gets more attention and looks? No disrespect to the 3/5/M3/M5 or the BMW's out there, but I don't feel them except for the 6 series.

In all my years and cars I have had and worked on, test drove, got to drive, etc..none have come close to the look and feel of the CLS. Not only is it a beautiful car, but is practical and performs well. I never get bored of driving the CLS, I mean I could drive 6 hrs straight and not be bored! Kudos to MB on the CLS, which stands out and above many others, and at the same time not too unobtainable.

In a few years, I may just buy another of the newer model. If I have kids by then, it's still practical.

The CLS is just in a class of it's own, the bar was set upon it release and no other car has actually reached that level.

e class
gotta agree, the CLS rocks. It really shook the sedan design world, even though benz calls it a four door coupe.

jaguar or whoever can try to copy it and charge 300,000 for it, NOTHING will ever be a CLS.
