What did you do with your TPM?

Anyone here have tpm in their aftermarket 20" rims? i brought it to firestone to get it put in but they told me they won't work with other rims. anyone can help me out on this??

Well, with aftermarket wheels they usually have an additional spot for the tpms. Since the tpms is usually connected to the valve stem, your aftermarket wheels (3 piece) should have one stem on the outer lip, and another on the inner lip (where the tpms sensor would go).

Your first mistake was taking it to firestone. Take your car to a rebutable tire shop or maybe to a place that sells aftermarket wheels. They should be able to help you. Some wheels are not sensor compatible, but most are these days. If they are not compatible they should be able to use the band method to attach your sensor still similar to how most fords have them.
