CLS problems, first service
At the dealer right now for:
-7 speed bump/jerky shifting
-tilt down in reverse of right side mirror activation thru SDS
-popping/tapping noise from fuel system
-rattle in drivers door panel
-brake squeal
-Tele aid microphone doesn't work
Anybody get any of those issues resolved?

2006 CLS55 AMG President Edition
You know, now that I think about it....I have a really faint rattle in my drivers door as well..I hope the door panel doesn't have to come off to fix it. 
Also, does the 2006 CLS55 have the reverse mirror auto tilt feature??? If so, how do I activate it??

I was told that my 2006 CLS 500 didnt have reverse mirror tilt even though it shows on my dash as an option in settings. For some reason I went to park today and it started working. I have no idea what happened but it works perfectly now. I tested it a few times.

Well i was scared to let them take the door panel off... but now the dealer told me they have several panels out because they can't find the issue with the tele-aid!!! I am not really happy.

2006 CLS55 AMG President Edition
You have to press in the passenger side mirror button on the drivers door is you want to activate the reverse tilt feature! (it must be activated first in the settings menu).

My driver's side door is making a chirping sound (like two plastic parts rubbing) on rough roads. Anyone know if this is covered by a DTB?

They said no problem with the transmission and the door panel rattle was a loose speaker (i doubt it). This dealer seems pretty lousy. The ML loaner I have transmission shifts VERY smooth. Can't feel it shift while mine thumps or jerks when it shifts.

Brake squeal: Replaced all the brake pads and applied squeal paste
Transmission: Updated software, no fluid change or valve body, etc.
Rattle: Claim the speaker was loose, don't hear the rattle anymore.
Tele-aid: Replaced the mirror
Tapping: noise not found
Best of all, they activated the mirror dip down when you shift into reverse!!

I just can't stand the squeal. I'm like this is supposed to be a 80k car and why the hell is it squealing like a 1970 Datsun?

no charge for the squeal fix, but i really had to push them to do it. They initially said no issue, but i made them drive with me and listen to it. They said they aren't supposed to do the pads, but they were able to get approved... they were feeding me BS. I only have 5k miles.
