Porterfields??

Are the front and rear brake pads the same part number for the Porterfields?

I need to replace my brake pads and might as well do the front and rear at the same time. I need to cut down on the brake dust as well.

The fronts are AP986 R4-S and the rears are AP847 R4-S. The Porterfields worked out great for me with minimal dust.

Ok. I looked on there and it says 94-04 vehicles. Will they still work?

Porterfields are supposed to be some of the lightest dusting pads compared to stock. I will be the judge of that when I get mine installed.

06 CLS55 w/ P030, 05 Jag S Type R, 05 TBird-68 Dodge Charger R/T-440 w/4speed I'm original owner
I got porterfields on the rear of my jag and EBC 'red stuff' on the fronts. Both are advertised as extremely low dust. The EBCs have about 30% less dust on the chrome rims than the Porterfields and have a higher coefficient of friction. Both are Kevlar/Ceramic compounds.

check them out at:

Just my $.02.
