K, I saved this thread..JUST so I could reply when I got my CLS..lol..its finally here..well one thing is for sure..CLS is muchhh more sportier than I originally though. Handling, speed, weight, and just the overall feel. But keep in mind I am coming from the e320(just like you) and it seemed sluggish and tankish compared to the zip of this car(I wonder how the AMGs 55/63 would feel..I really need to take one for a spin). If you are claustrophobic CLS might not be for you, The E class was def. VERY spacious in every aspect(passenger, head room, leg room, etc.). The CLS has lots of blind spots and the smaller windows can make you uncomfortable(takes a while to get used to it). Like you are in a jail cell peeking out the cell thru a lil brick shaped hole..lol. Gas is the only minus with this car. I did get 25.8 driving about 1400 miles straight across country averaging 80 mph but I got a feeling that was the high end. But overall I love my CLS so far. Def. a looker. The e class is lovely but it looks like basic sedan compared to this.
