an accident

Hi everybody!
Dose anyone know how to put back front seat head restraints?
Today the driver behind me bumped my CLS while waiting signal.
the damage wasn't too bad just scratch the paint on rear bumper
but for that impact, both head restraints pop out.
It seems me that there is special tool to put it back.
I just got my 06 CLS a week ago it is already a bad luck....
however it was impressible by safety system.

All you need to do is push it back down and latch it back into place. No tools necessary.

Wrong, there is a tool in the owners kit and instructions in the owners manual. It is not just a push back. The tool is a slim metal rod that releases a latch so they can go back into place.

Oops. I've seen others say what I have said before, but it makes sense what you said. Now I know what those as you said, slim metal rods are that came with my S550.
