I took a crack at this earlier and just wondered if anyone else has had this issue. I am in a 2006 E55 and very happy torching the road. My wife drives a 2007 CLS 550 and I drove it for the first time in several months yesterday. It has this irritating light thump and noise that sounds tire, wheel, or front suspension related at low speeds? The MB dealer says nothing is wrong and all is good. It is not all good and I wondered if this group has any response or helpful input? Thanks.

Front suspension or rear? If it's from the rear it might be the "bodies in the trunk" issue that has plagued many, yet has been deemed normal.

I have been out of town but thanks for the idea. The noise is from the front but I did remove the human remains.
