service A due at only 5k miles

service A due at only 5k miles
i had my cls for 7 months now and it has 5k miles. i just noticed that serviceA is due. and usually its 10k miles or 1yr when it should be due. can anybody tell me what could be the reason? thanks

2009 CLS 550
I dont understand the service schedules. In my last car (07 CLK350) it started with Service A at around 13K miles, then Service B at 25K miles, and then next one was Service A. I dumped the car before the 2nd Service A. On this car, 09 CLS550, I only have 1500 miles but it says Service C in 8500 miles. I read somewhere it depends on the way you drive that determines which service is required???

weird
My service A came on at 2k miles after 5months after delivery... took to dealer and they said that it was not set correctly at delivery so they will correct it...
now I look at it ... it's at service C in 10,0xx miles...
Related subject... should you do an oil change after a year or so after factory filled oil? consider that's what the norm is (one year or 12k )
