Trunk door release button

Hey guys,

I dont have the power trunk option, but just the regular trunk release. I have an ML350 also and it does not have the power trunk option either, but when closing it has the motorized feature that pulls the door shut once you've engaged it into a closing position so you dont have to slam it shut.

Is the CLS supposed to have this feature also? I just picked up an 06 with around 35,000 miles and mine does not lock up on its own or have the motorized feature that pulls the door shut, I have to actually close the trunk like an old chrysler.......

thanks.

Electronic trunk closer is an individual cost (not standard) option.

That was an option for the 06 CLS? Because my 07 ML had that standard.

The person who bought this car new, to save money, specifically bought a car that didn't come equipped with electronic trunk closer nor Sirius. And to save money, you bought a model equipped this way....pre-owned. I don't think you are allowed to complain. If you want specific features, find a car that has them, and get that one.

It's actually part of the Premium I Package on the 07 ML, and not standard.

i dont see a lot of assholic posts here, but this was one. this kind of attitude not only destroys the environment of mutual respect ppl have here, but makes ppl scared of asking questions.
