Brake squeaking
Everybody knows and complains about brake squeaking... I have a 08 CLS550 and I had this problem always... At 12 kmiles the dealer in Seattle changed the pads (under warranty) cause they ran out. After 3 months squeaking is back. Took it to the dealer in Bellevue, WA and they told me it has to do with the driving, I am too soft on brakes. I told them I ran out the pads in 12kmiles. Then they told me I am too harsh on the brakes...
Anybody fixed it somehow? Any suggestions? Different pads?

they fixed those under warranty ? they told me its a wear n tear item n charged me for it !!

They changed the pads because they ran out under warranty, first 12 months.

My '09's brakes were squealing 30 days after purchase - dealer can't find anything wrong, and says some brake squeal is "normal". I wondered if replacement would yield the same problem eventually, and you have just presented it. Not happy about the noise (it doesn't happen every stop thankfully), but I doubt I will buy another MB

why? I thought brake squeal was common across the mb car lines
