Valve Tap?
I noticed this morning on my wifes 06 cls500 that it sounded like a valve tap/taps out of the left side valve cover, anyone heard of this? It has hydraulic lifters so no adjustment and only has 52,000 miles and i don't know if it goes away when it warms up yet. Thanks

If the tick goes away when it is hot then you have carbon build up in the cyl and it will sound like a lifter. try putting some top engine cleaner in the fuel and always use 91 oct. what oct fuel are u using?
