CLS Transmission Pblms
Hi, a couple years ago there were a few threads on the transmission problems on the early CLS. Does anyone know if a definitive solution was ever found? I am getting a rough step down from 2nd to 1st on my 2005 CDI. I have already taken it to MB who told me they do not know what the problem is but still charged me £400 for the privilege. Should I just bite the bullet and change the transmission or just sell the car?

u should be able to get it fixed from somebody that rebuilds them ....just costs more... but shouldnt haved paid if they cant figure it out....
