Chrome License Plate trim removal?

Chrome License Plate trim removal?
Anyone know how to remove the chrome license plate trim(handle strip). Search all over, cannot find an answer, I was following instruction from here

But I guess that is for the C63, a little different than the CLS55, the trunk release is blocking the way. Anyone with information please let me know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
