I wonder how close the exterior of the standard CLS will be to these images (and there are a plenty more pics at the link). There's been plenty of speculation. From the spy shots I've seen, I think the nose on this one is too upright, but it's hard to know with all the tape they put on the test cars.

The interior looks great, though. Seems like a reasonable interpretation of the current E-Class interior that's tweaked for the CLS - like they did in the current model with the old E-Class. Looks nice. I imagine the textured part in the front would be polished wood in the US, as it is in the E-Class.

The Beijing Motor Show begins this week so I guess we'll know more soon.

dodge magnum front and porsche panamera rear. don't understand why they went with a rear like this (looks like a station wagon/hatchback). the current CLS is so sexy compared to this.

EDIT: ugh... what happened to all that nice wood that the C219 has???

The front end and sides are the next CLS for sure , as is the interior. Just imagine this car with a trunk not a hatch.
