New CLS
...it seems likely that Mercedes-Benz will use the upcoming Beijing Motor Show to preview its next-gen CLS, along with the introduction of what appears to be a production-ready shooting break design.
I wonder how close the exterior of the standard CLS will be to these images (and there are a plenty more pics at the link). There's been plenty of speculation. From the spy shots I've seen, I think the nose on this one is too upright, but it's hard to know with all the tape they put on the test cars.
The interior looks great, though. Seems like a reasonable interpretation of the current E-Class interior that's tweaked for the CLS - like they did in the current model with the old E-Class. Looks nice. I imagine the textured part in the front would be polished wood in the US, as it is in the E-Class.
The Beijing Motor Show begins this week so I guess we'll know more soon.
