Theres a 2006 CLS 500 in my area (private seller) and im debating on whether or not to pull the trigger. I saw some pictures and contacted the seller so heres my input :

2006 CLS 500 with 16,000 miles, amg sport package, heated/cooled seats, auto start, and im sure theres much more.

Ill give you further information once i see and drive the vehicle. But i guess the scoop is that they purchased it brand new in 06 and shipped it to their condo in Florida, its never seen snow or salt, and they just drove it back up last month to sell since they barely use it. The guy says the car is show room condition and is asking 37,000. I obviously want to lower the price and am going to pay cash. What do you guys think? Great deal or am i wrong? Has anyone ever had problems with their 2006? Im also guessing theres no warranty left so i would have to purchase extended.

If it is truly in the condition he says it is, offer him 33,000 and then settle for around 34,000. Thats a great price if it has all the options and low miles.

i just checked it out today and let me say..this car is clean. The exterior has no dents and the paint looks brand new. Only exterior problem is the right passenger tire has a bubble in it which ill have to replace. Interior only has two minor scratches on the wood and a couple of scuffs in the leather from the baby seat, that i can proabbly take out anyway. Other then that, its proabbly one of the best condition used cars ive seen. His warranty ends in september so extanded warranty would add to the cost. So what do you guys think? We havent talked pricing yet but his ad said 37 thousand firm. But i think 33 or 34 cash would be fair. Opinions anyone?

In LA you could get it for 34. I looked at a 55 with 10k miles all options and he was willing to take 40k so 37k seems high to me.
