I have an 06 CLS 500 (sports package). It is making some clicking noise from front. It sounds to me that it si either shocks or brakes. I have taken it to MB dealership few times and they had no luck identifying the problem. It only happens sometimes. at work I park on the deck - 6th floor. At the end of each ramp it levels (from incline to level). as soon as I hit the leveled surface it makes a horrible clicking noise (always). Sometimes it happens when I brake too. It seems that if it makes the sound while braking, it will not do it again until I accelarate and stop again (sometimes). It does not happen when I go over bumps:-(. The dealership just could not repeat the noise. I guess it may be that they need to take it to a parking deck somewhere to initiate the noise. It is worse when the car starts. Could it be hidrolics system? I hope there is someone out there who has experienced the same type of issue.

I don't have that issue however, i would suggest having the dealership check the engine mounts.

in this case, it's really hard to id the problem without a high quality video ... maybe you want to have someone else in the car and u can listen to it carefully from outside.

I think I'm having the same problem. I'm at 56k miles and it just started. I have to get my car serviced this weekend so I'm gonna get it checked out. Hoping it's nothing major.

i heard clicking when making left hand turns but only when i lower my car just recently, gotta get mine looked at too
