Where to go for maintenance?

So i finally got a CLS! and now i just need some tips on how to take care of my car.

The first couple things i need to do are:

-Change Oil
-Change Break Pads
-Top off fluids
-Alignment and camber readjustment (?)

So do i have to do these all at the dealer? or can i do like my breaks at like Midas, and my alignment at a local alignment shop?

What are the vital things that I MUST do at the dealer?

thanks for any info, and im pretty excited to be one of the crew

Alignment and camber readjustment is a MUST do at the dealer less than $200. Most local shop cannot set camper.

Break pads repalcement can be done by any Local Mechanic, but your must buy Brake pads at the dealer otherwise you will regret it. You can save $200 here.

Oil change can be done by any experience mercedes or foreigh car repair shop. $100... l will prefer you use the dealer no much saving here.

Top of fluid: Buy your fluid from dealer and top it off yourself if you know where fluid goes. No much saving here too, use dealer. Your engine light may come-on if you over-fill, then you have to go to the dealer to reset it.

If you do allignement at the dealer, you might as well ask them to inspect your fluid level and refill them. If you do this by yourself with no dealer fluid you will regret it. The right wiper fluid and coolant have to be purchased from the dealer.

You see there is no much escape from spending high repair cost if you drive a Mercedes.

Better safe than sorry, give the dealer their money, and get good repair, if anything goes wrong you can return the car for improper servicing.
