hey guys. I regrettably sold my c32 amg and am finally looking at getting back to an MB. I’m looking at a 2008 CLS550 with 18,000 for about 42,000. It is CPO until 5 2013. I searched the forum for any problems and couldn’t find any (maybe that is a good thing). I know the C32 had major tranny and radiator problems amongst many other things. I found this forum after i made the purchase, but was incredibly helpful. Any help would be great as I would like to make an offer but want to get some feedback first. thanks to some of you who have modded out your cls, you have given me some great ideas. thanks and sorry if this is a redundant post.

Did you end up buying the CLS? I sold my loaded up '08 CLS550 last month for $38K. Gives you an idea on the wholesale market. we were not pleased with the fit and finish, cabin noise, and outdated technology/safety aspects of the 08. just my .02. The CLS is a nice looking car.

Sorry to jump into your thread like this but I also would like some feedback on a similar cls550 that I'm looking at.

I'm looking at a CPO 08 CLS550 with around 18K miles also. It's in diamond white with the AMG sport package. The listed price is around 50K. How much do you guys think I can talk the dealer to go down?

hmm is this the diamond 550 edition? if so I don't think you can get them down below $ 48 K depending on the state but a CPO should be in perfect state. I've just got a '08 with 32 K miles with CPO til 2013 and new tires and it has P1 and P2 for $ 43K
