working solutions 06 cls 500 tranny issue
Does the Valve body replacements work on these slipping transmissions and what are the cost? Have any of you CLS owner been satisfied with these repairs and how helpful was Mercedes in helping you resolve the issue. My tranny has been doing this for a few months and i am try to get all my ducks in a row before i go into my dealer and have this repair done I thought I would have the entire Valve Body replaced and not peacemill it sothat there wont be any kind of residual affects later by other components not changed, and does anyone know how much Mercedes stand behind this repair.
Please respond I want to be done with this issue, So sad that these high end vehicles are burdened by thier own technology to the point that us consumers become frustrated with what should be an elite product. Anyhow please help..

valve body
Paid $2400 for my cls 500 valve body replacement....i have the same symptoms in my car like slipping gears...i have to stop and resart the engine, then it will be ok again..until one late night while driving on the freeway, engine light came on then suddenly the car got stuck in the 1st gear...stop and restart ther engine then, that was it... no more...A month before this i had a broken front pump inside the transmission which i have to pay $1700 for repair...
