So i am driving home after work today and the check engine light comes on. i have had the car almost three weeks and this is the second time it has come on. Both times it has been a rainy humid day, can this be the cause.

Gonna try to run right over tomorrow and see if they can get the codes for what it is, just wondering if anyone else has this happen.

 

Cause? Not likely. I'd call it coincidental. Codes, codes, codes...

 

Had the code checked he said it was the cam adjusters i think code 0060...anyone know what this is or the remedy?

 

Camshaft adjustment solenoids need replacement (140 in diagram). Covered by warranty, mention DTB S-B-03.30/08j. If not covered by warranty, up to engine # 30 193592 you may be entitled to goodwill replacement – PM email address & VIN.
