fog lamps auto illumination.
can anyone explain to me how the fog lamp auto illumination works. I am trying to hook up some a/m led and am having problems

fog lamp voltage
I narrowed my problem down further. The car only feeds 2v to the fog lights which isnt enough to run the ballast. Anyone know how and where the voltage is being reduced at?
