Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve been Jerryrised again.
So now that my wife jumped ship from BMW to Benz, we got her 06 CLS500 that she wanted since the moment she saw one. I decided to get a tune since I had a good experience once before with my S500 (see here >>> https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...erryrised.html)
Firs I want to give Adam mad props for doing this for me after hours. I could not do it because of my job during the day, he helped me out in the evening. We did a remote tune, combined time of work of 15 min. he connected to my pc, got some data off the ecu, sent to Jerry to encode the tune and called me back within ten min with a tune from Jerry. Five more min and
I did not expect a rocket ship just as I did with the s class, but this time around I got one. Holly fresh pair of underpants Batman!
What a difference in responsiveness and power. Even my nephew who drives a cl65 was impressed and noticed a big difference in the cls.
I know a tune would not be more than 20hp, if you are lucky, but I guess because the car is lighter than the s class, it can deliver more of a punch.
Even in the passanger seat where you are usually not feeling the car as much it pushes you in to the seat from 20mph roll on.
