Black insert of rear 2009 CLS550 AMG Bumper looks faded...what gives??
The black, pebbled insert part of the lower rear AMG bumper of my 2009 CLS550 looks faded in certain areas. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? This car has only 22k miles and is always garaged (at home and work) so I can't figure why this happened? Anybody else have this issue or any thoughts on this?

Mine looked like that after I had my car buffed. Apparently the buffing compound stained it. That piece is actually a rather thin piece of plastic that is attached to the rear bumper with 3m type tape. Some people have removed theirs and prefer the look without it.

I had a Volvo XC 70 with plastic fenders and side moldings and used forever black. This stuff is amazing, and cheap. It is a plastic dye so wear gloves. Don't waste your time putting Armorall or anything like that because you will have to do that every time you wash since its just a temp fix.
Get it from Amazon, I think the little bottle is $4 and goes a long way, if you lived in the central coast I'd give you the remainder of my bottle.
