there is only one guy that i know of that still has some CLS bluetooth kits available. Keith Valentine cellguy@live.com . He is very experienced and knows the ins and outs of every mercedes benz bluetooth system. he charges about $800.00 for the kit and the installation is extremely straight forward.

I was going to sale my parts I have 2 out 3 missing pieces but finally pulled the trigger and ordered it. This is the list of thing I purchased to get bluetooth and once I receive final piece will have it installed.
1. Bluetooth puck ebay $109
2. Contact plate part # A 203 820 1311 orderd from parts.com (when ordering take out the letter "A" ) $95 shipped
3. Just ordered MHI control module had to order the core kit even though you only need one item from kit unless you want backward compatible parts and voice control purchased on ebay:
part # Q6820965 $295 shipped
Just need to pay for install dont know the price?? But I am relieved I have all the parts. I did buy an used Itronics bluetooth tried to install and it messed up my command in which I am getting fixed I think they are re-installing software to fix. No I have a used Itronics sitting around.

The core package Q6820965 is hard to find,e M matter fact I tried calling dealership and search extensively online and even asked the ebay seller to just sell me the MHI module since I dont care to have backward compatible phone or voice command. I wish I had purchased my CLS back when shannon was able to buy that part for $100. There is a seller on ebay (roscoe) if you type in Q6820965 they are selling it for $269 + tax in ca and shipping. I did a search extensively to find the other package Q6820954 but no luck they dont make that package no more it seems. From shannons post and I did research in order to have basic bluetooth all you need is the bluetooth puck, contact plate since our car has the connections in the arm rest and MHI module that connects to the fiber optics and power etc. In order to get the MHI module, I had no other choice than purchase the Q6820965. And the rest contact plate (parts.com) and puck on ebay.

So benz doesn't sell the contact plate that comes with the voice commander anymore? is this correct?

That is bluetooth puck that connects to the contact plate in armrest.
Contact plate from dealer never bother ordering from them because of high mark up price. Ordered mine from parts.com the contact plate attatches to the arm rest underside there are two cables and the puck connects to the contact plate. The MHI controller module is a silver box but of courtse there are extra components that come with this kit but not necessary like this pictured:

Im using the older B6787583 bluetooth puck it pairs up fine with my Iphone 4, I have one in my GL450 and I have one for my install for my CLS. Voice command you gonna have to buy the kit. And as the MHI, I know it goes in the trunk. I have to figure out if it is an easy install or I should have a shop do it. I installed the Ipod kit and took apart panels and ran wires all the way to the back and switched wires which was fun and easy. If you want the voice command and bluetooth your gonna have to probably buy the kits on ebay for $800 because I dont know the exact part number for voice and what is required.

2006 Mercedes CLS500
Bluetooth only completed
I installed the Contact Plate/Pigtail and Puck in the Center Glovebox. The MHI module in the Trunk and the MOST fiberoptic cable in the trunk (both go on left side). Don't need antenna switch or linear compensator if not using the microphone stem on the steering wheel for voice control. The last thing I can say is take the cover off of the microphone (near your right knee there's a little filter covering a hole, that is the built in mic.) That way callers can hear you. I suggest reaching out to Keith Valentine on E-Bay, he can hook you up with everything you need and clearly written instructions too.
Has anyone done this and can anyone confirm the exact items I need to get done what I want done?
