My first issue...with the CLS

My first issue...with the CLS
So my CLS has an issue with the left HID, the issue is that the HID is trying to fire it flickers when the car is turned on, I am assuming it is the ballast about to crap out. I am off to the dealer in the morning, I already spoke with them as my car is under warranty until 100K miles, shouldn't the ballast be covered?
I made sure to note to the SA that the HID flickers and is NOT blown.
If it isn't covered, I already have looked up the ballast (less than half of the dealer cost) and my indy has been notified.

BTW- How hard would it be to change the ballast myself? Anyone have any experience with that?

Damn, so I got crickets. I will have to resolve it myself, thought someone here has had some issue with HID's, etc. Regardless, the dealer said it was the "capsule" the bulb. Not sure about the warranty yet, but if not covered I will change it myself based on price.

herd to get in i tried too many things to remove n cram ur hand in there......fog s to HID was easy but the headlights r harder....can be done jus hard to get to....

Yeah, I kind of figured it would not be very easy to do...but just talked with my SA and it was covered under warranty. They just finished up the install.
