Been shopping around both variant lately and notice the prices are almost the same (in Malaysia), haven't test driven but im sure both would have it's merits in terms of ride quality and looks wise i like them both.

My main concern would be the reliability since both came from a reconditioned used car importer, mainly UK specs and without any warranty. From my understanding both share the same V6 engine and newer version 7G, however based on recall/gremlins, i am not sure the E-Class would be more since it is a new model during it's newly launch period compare to a seasoned CLS facelift variant.

I hope to get some advice & input reason is, i somehow prefer the "sexy" shape of the CLS. However i need to get a ride that will last the test of time of 8-10 years.
