CLS Cupholder delete???
Can't stand this thing. It's right where my arm rests. It also has the uber-annoying tendency to pop up / open up at the utmost inconvenient times!!! Which is made even worse if you keep redhots or tictacs in it!!!
I'd love to hear there is just a smooth insert that can replace the double cup holder piece. Anyone?
TIA

I believe that is an E class console. (there is a cup holder that pops up when you open the cover) Try google to see if anyone has successfully swapped them.

All I did was google e-class cup holder and images similar to that came up. But since you wanna be a dick about it, the part he is looking for is referred to as "kinematic stowage compartment" by MB. As for part numbers, I havent looked in to that yet.

Can't be a dick if I am right? That picture I put is from Euro CLS. Like I said your wrong cause you said THAT IS E-class console but it really isn't. It honestly cannot be done unless someone has euro parts connections

Euro? Looks like the steering wheel is on the wrong side to be a "Euro". Lol As for the part numbers for the parts to change to this style, EPC lists them as: Cover-Central console: A21968015398L19 (you will also need the color code) and the Dashpot: A2116830075. It wont give me the part number for the pop up cup holder because my car doesnt have it. Hope that points you in the right direction.

Says that CLS interior is Brabus where a company in Germany made it. Just assumed it was Euro? lol...I doubt we can get this option. I actually like the ones on our cars already rather than pop up.

Thank you to everyone for chiming in.
S500 Man, if I'm trying to get a little action in the car, a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.
djrabbi, you nailed it. That's exactly what I'm looking for. However, because of the shape of my current cupholder, I'd guess I'd have to swap out the whole console.
I thought E-class to for a second, but upon closer review it did appear to be spot on.
I know I can get just the cupholder & mechanism off ebay, but it would'nt plug and play by any means. I'm guessing if there was one made for our USA cars, it would be a plug shaped to drape down over the sides of the console. Or at least that is what I'd rather deal with as opposed to a complete console replacement...
As obvious, I'm new to Benz's and this forum. It sounds like this "EPC" is gonna become important to me. Gonna have to get plugged into whatever it is.

EPC is a free service that will give you specific parts diagrams that apply to whatever VIN you enter. You can also get data cards and such. epc.startek.info is where to go. It requires a credit card for verification, but there is no charge assoicated with it. Really comes inhandy when you need a part number.

Hmmm. wtf is this?

Judging by the glove box, it's a cupholder for something other than our CLS'!!!
I'd be happy to find something similar, but with just the opening lid. I cannot stand these two big *** holes under my elbow, and, I'd really like to hide some bells and whistles under there!!!
Still looking...

^^^ Very interesting. While it does show the E-Class type holder fitted into a CLS, I have yet to see one anywhere other than the Brabus pic above. As expected, I would have to get the whole center console replaced, but it may still be worth it to me.
Where would anyone source such parts???
Thanks again to everyone for their input!!
