Rough idle...MAF time?

So I am at 100K now, and started to feel a rough idle, not really bad. So far, I had the service A done, changed plugs, wires, changed air filters. Still rough idle...the dealer that did my A service (nothing else) noted the MAF should be okay.

Somehow, I don't believe that, they missed the air filters were filthy...so I cleaned the MAF with CRC MAF cleaner, still rough idle. So..it's probably time for a new MAF I think. No CEL, but I noticed the RPM jumps a little up and down when parked. Anyone else have ideas of what else could be causing the rough idle?

I found an excellent price for a new Bosch MAF on Amazon for $112

Check around the forums. There is quite a bit of discussion about the rough idle. I dont recall reading that a new MAF is the answer. I am not saying you are wrong, just trying to keep you from spending money on something that may not solve your issue. My car does it intermittently and the dealer has never been able to find anything wrong. They acknowledge the rough idle, but have no solution. Good luck. Let us know if you decide to change the MAF and it solves the issue.

I haven't decided yet on the MAF change, but noting 100K miles on the original I thought it may be time to change it. I have done most of the recommended services for 100K.

I will do some more looking around, I had searched on the rough idle earlier. MAF and transmission service were noted. I have the transmission serviced around 50K or so. I agree, I don't want to replace things that work and not the issue, perhaps I need to pull codes, but with no CEL would I see anything? I guess I will see about that later today.
