Trunk close button will not work.
My trunk close button will not work. The switch inside both opens and closes it but the button will not work. The button is illuminate red and no.12 fuse is good but still won't work. I looked at the inside of the button and there was a bit of green corrosion but not bad. Cleaned it up and still nothing. Can anyone help.

I'm presuming you mean the switch located in the trunk...
If the switch inside the cabin (drivers door) still does both, then it sounds like you are on the right path. Try disassembling the switch again and jumping the two wires to see if that will close it. Obviously, be prepared to short them again immediately, or get the heck out of the way...
If that works, look for and remove more corrosion.
