2007 Mercedes CLS 500
TPM Sensor battery replacement
My car is now more than 5 years old and STAR diagnosed that my TPM sensor batteries are dead.
Although Mercedes states, that it is not possible to change battery, it can easily be done.
Sealant can easily be removed and inside is one CR2450HR battery.
You only have to desolder contacts, change battery, solder contacts back
and seal the sensor with sealant (loctite sealant for oil pan or head gaskets).
Replacement battery has to be heat resistant (it must have marking HR at the end).

Good information. I didn't know the HR suffix meant Heat Resistant. Thanks.
