IPod question

Have a 2007 with the IPod jack in the glove box. Can I use an IPod Shuffle and control it from the steering wheel? Thanks.

I don't own an IPod and was trying to see if the shuffle -$50 would work instead of the $299 one.

Yes it will work. You just need an ipod auxiliary cable. You can only control the volume from the steering wheel. You can't switch tracks etc. It will also NOT charge it.

Anything newer than 2010 iPod won't charge since the voltage has changes from 3v to 5v. You can get a 5v adapter as I did for my iPod
