Difference between 06-08 & 09+ front bumpers
I have an '06 CLS 500 and a few months back I put a '10 AMG front bumper on. I got the grill to go with it. Everything bolts up, but it just wont line up right with the fenders. Now, this is a repaired bumper with many plastic welds in the repair, and according to my body guy (who's a good friend and has done impeccable work for me in the past) says that the repairs to the bumper is what's keeping it from aligning.
I'm really just wondering if its the repaired bumper or if the 10+ bumper doesn't line up with the 06-08 fenders.
Anyone know???

everything is same except for grill mounts cause grill is different.....not the fenders or the car its the bumper.....

That's what I was hoping. I got the new grill to match and it all looks good except for the fender alignment. Looks like my friend has his work cut out fo him
