Exclamation For those with questions about scheduled service

Today I just dropped off my car for "Service G" which was flashing on my cluster. I looked to see if anyone could tell me how much it cost and found nothing, so I just had to see.

What I discovered is Mercedes doesn't go by A-B-C-D-E-F-G-G0-G1-etc... anymore. Even though your car reflects the letter up that high, they really only go by 2 services "A SERVICE" and "B SERVICE".

A service being a light maintenance service which costs about $179.
Bservice is the samer as A but they also include brake fluid change, interior filter change and a few other inspections. If you got A service done and had the additional services done seperately then it would add up to almost $600 bucks. However, if you just pay for B service and get it all done at once it costs roughly $400 flat.

As far as the lettering goes...
A is A-service
B is B-service
C is A-service again
D is B-service again
E is A-service again
F is B-service again
G is A-service again

Get it?
It alternates as you make your scheduled visits. So theoretically, Service G is really just another A service if you have been bringing your car in regularly with history on record.

I hope this helps those in question like I had.

A Service = $179
B Service = $400
And naturally if they find any other issues with your car, you'll pay for them separately.
