I just had the dealer lower my 07 cls550 about 3/4" (20mm) using star diagnostics. It looks sweet! BUT I have a problem I need help/advice with.
The car was sitting evenly all the way around when I left the dealer, but now the rear drivers side is about a 1/2" lower than the rear passengers side. I took it back to the dealer and they said there is only 1 sensor for the rear (unlike the front where there is a left and right) and they can't raise just 1 side of the rear without raising the other side of the rear. So they raised the rear back to stock height and then re-lowered it (using STAR) the 20mm and brought it back out to me. I measured it with a tape measure and they were within an 1/8" of each other. I was happy till I got home and found the rear drivers side again sitting 1/2" lower. Ugghhh...
I called the dealer back and he claimed that if the bag had a leak it would be extremely low/noticible and sensors/alarms would be going off to tell me of a problem. He also said that maybe it's because it's not "running" and when I drive it, it will level out. Obviously, the problem with that is that I can't drive it and measure at the same time. Lol
Any thoughts to help me???
Anyone know if there really is just one sensor for adjusting the rear?
Thanks guys!
