2014 CLS Wheel Option Question

2014 CLS Wheel Option Question
Hello Everyone,
Looking to order a 2014 CLS and i have a few Q's.
1) It looks like you need to order the AMG wheel package to get the Manual Shift mode? How much of a diff is this from the Sport mode, will I be pissed if i don's have it. I ask because i like the 19" five spoke wheels better then the AMG wheels (call me crazy), but i don't want to sacrifice any performance of the car by not choosing the AMG wheels. Also is there anything else i would be missing by forgoing the AMG option, i know the steering wheel is different, but doesn't look that much off... sorry - went to the dealer yesterday and it seemed like i knew more about the car than the salesman!
2) thoughts on Diamond white with Ash grey/black interior? love the interior but not sure about white or black for the paint. would love to know your thoughts, white on almost white too much....
