Bag problems

Hi guys,

I have a 09 CLS550 with factory airride the Programa ELM installed. I've had it installed for well over a year now with no issues.

My friend noticed today when I turn corners he can hear a "KSHH!" coming from the front right. We both thought it was rubbing, which it sometimes does... but after I heard it myself, I knew something wasn't right. I disabled my ELM and drove home.

Tonight I take the car out and its pulling to the right so hard I have to wrestle to stay in my lane. The compressor was on way more than normal, and I heard the "KSHH!" sound a time or two.

Parked it when I got home and this was going on:

As you can see the right side is tucking while the left side is monster-trucking.

Is it possible my airbag is ripped or torn? The rear is pretty low too, though not as low as it is when I drop it all the way with the ELM. The front though... its lower than it goes with the ELM.

Thanks in advance.

when you start the car, will the right (lowered) side actually go back up? or it stays down like that?

from experience, my dad had a cl500 and once its parked, the whole right side was slammed to the ground. he has to wait 2 minutes after starting the car so it will go back to normal height. whole right side had to be replaced and he didn't bother and just sold the car as is.

Have the same issue and currently waiting for my remanufactured strut arriving from Arnott.
For you guys (US) is it easier and faster...I have to send my original part to Arnott.
But then again I like it this way as my CLS has only 26000km on the clock.
After long research I believe Arnott is the best option.

It was a blown airstrut, as suspected.

Luckily it was covered under my extended warranty. Woo hoo!
