0-100 Run :-) Impressed.

So, the roads are quiet and this morning I had an opportunity to see what my CLS500 can do.

Airmatic Setting: Comfort
Gearbox Mode: Auto
ESP: Off

0-100 in 5.51s

Next I will try with Sport 2 suspension setting and gearbox in manual.

That's pretty good for a boat with only 300hp. I never timed mine but I have read 5-5.1 secs for the 550's

Where I work, there is quite a long driveway that is pretty much empty to the main traffic street after 5:30-6pm. Usually when I work late, I use this as a launch strip and test in sport transmission with the traction off. Fully depress the accelerator and I lose traction pretty quickly which causes the tires to kick for about a second. IME, a rolling start gets you going faster.

I think the OP has a 550 not a 500 just that in some countries call the 2007+ 550 a 500, so he got 382hp.

Yup, that's correct. I have the 5.5l V8. Here in South Africa Mercedes-Benz did not need to re-badge the car when they increased the engine displacement.

The MBworld app I use doesn't show any info on the member unless I click on your username so I didn't know his was newer.... Anyway, in that case than you should do much better with Sport 2 suspension setting and manual shifting I think.
