another lowering module thread - comparison

I have links on my Fiance's cls550 I just got her. now I just purchased one yesterday for me because I liked hers. I am back to the options of how I want to lower it.

1. Links - GHost link

PRO's
They work fine, ride is not diminished due to the links (it is for the 20's)
Easy to install
PRICE 150.00 plus 75.00 installation

CONS
Not easily adjustable
fixed height by trial and error
tricking the voltage

2. V2 with Remote (lowering module.com)

PROs
Remote control to adjust
More features
Tied into computer
Still reasonable in price (595.00)

CON's
Did you see that wiring on the installation!
Changing factory wiring is a bit scary if you are not an electronics WIZ
More than link in cost, how much do you adjust it really?

3.LoMo M1 (lowering module.com)

PRO's
Ties into dashboard computer (very cool)
Adjustments Galore
Tied into computer

CON's
Did you see that wiring on the installation!
Lot of wiring Pin in and Pin out changes
Changing factory wiring is a bit scary if you are not an electronics WIZ
Price is a bit high, 1600.00 (just to see it in the factory gauge)

4. Renntech V3 GMP Performance

PRO's
Adjustments Galore
Tied into computer
Easy install

CON's
Need a laptop to do it.
only 30mm adjustment 1.1 inches
no adjustments on the fly
Price is a high, 1300.00 for not having adjust on the fly

I believe the Lo - mo also has a "show mode" which will dump it as low as your suspension (and tire clearance) will allow.

I'm still undecided on which I'll choose but after seeing them all lined up here I'm definitely going to check out the V2 with remote.

Im still confused..... the links on the old ladies car look good, but I have to have a better one than hers =)

i like the lo mo function as my radar detector will also hook right intot the dash as well with a cool integration from Midcityengineering that makes my radar detector appear in the console
