Hi all

Another simple wheel question here...

Will this setup work up front?

18 x 8.5 et 32

OEM is the same width but et28.

Am I getting too close to the suspension or is there still enough clearance?

Tire size will be stock 245 40 18.

It's fine. I run 18x10" ET30 (which sits 17mm closer to the suspension than 18x8.5" ET32) and there's still some room between the wheel and suspension to play with. I never rub.

Whether the wheels will clear the brakes would be a good question. Most 18" wheels have no problems clearing brakes on C219 CLS550, but brake clearance is wheel dependent.

No. My car's too filthy for pics. Last time I gave it a wash was last October.
