W219 SBC Hydraulic Unit
Last week I took my CLS to workshop for service. They told me there's a problem with ABS hydraulics and the price they quoted was approximately 2500 euros which sounds ridiculously expensive.
What parts I should be looking at? Is it this one? http://www.tav-autoverwertung.de/sho...-0-265-960-302
Error messages they gave me:
C22B4 (62B4( [Status: current and stored]
Hydraulic fault: Front Right inlet control valve (A7/3y8)
- C249F (649F) [Status: current and stored]
Check operating time of component A7/3 (SBC hydraulic unit)
- C227B (627B) [Status: stored]
Hydraulic fault: Front Left outlet control valve (A7/3y9)
- C22FB (62FB) [Status: stored]
Hydraulic fault: Front Right outlet control valve (A7/3y9)
- C2534 (6234) [Status: stored]
Hydraulic fault: Front Right seperatingl valve (A7/3y2)
- C2235 (6235) [Status: stored]
Hydraulic fault: Front Left inlet control valve (A7/3y6)

CLS 500
I have an '06 and found out, through this forum, that there was an involuntary recall on the SBC unit for my model. Do a search for SBC and something should come up. I was getting messages in the heads-up display, but I don't recall them being anything like what you posted above. I took mine in early in the morning and had it back by 6p that night. And it didn't cost me a single, red cent. Great feeling to drive away from the dealer fully repaired at no cost. Good luck!!
