350 CGI (M72) strange noise at the back
Hello everybody,
I purchased a CLS 2006 with 3.5 litre petrol engine two months ago. It was faultless (apart from the boot closing/opening problem) that time, so I went for it. It's mileage is 53 770 miles and it was serviced regularly. However, I noticed a strange noise coming out from the back of the engine ,where the timing belt is. I know that the M272 engines have that balance shaft sprocket problem and after decoding the VIN it seems that I might have this issue. Could anybody check those videos out and let me know if that's the sound of a worn sprocket or perhaps something else??? Thanks a lot for help
