CLS 500 (2006) Mercedes Benz Sensor problem after car wash
Hello,
I have a 2006, Mercedes Benz CLS 500. I took my car for a car wash, suddenly in the middle of the car wash, lights turned off--all the sensors of the car have been acting up since then. I went to a mechanic, he said it is some electrical problem that will cost a lot.
Has it happened to anyone else? How did you fix it?
Please help!!!!!!
Thanks

Lift hood, see if the plastic cover and the lid are securely fastened on top of the SAM and ECU. If water got into them, you'll need to use contact cleaner on every connector. Worst case, possibly pull the ECU, open it up, and drain water. Ask me how I know.
