Error Code 9122 SRS related
Guys,
Need a bit of help from you gurus...
Changed my steering whee to the one with paddles (Performance Pack) and my SRS light is on...
Launch shows the following error :
9122 The resistance value in the ignition circuit containing component R12/14 (Driver airbag ignition squib 2) is too low.
What does this mean please?
Is it a wiring issue with the SCM connector? The Clockspring?
I have looked everywhere and although 9123 is fairly commonplace, there's only 1 mention of 9122 on the SLKworld forum.
Any DIY's for this please?

Hi Konigstiger, thank you, as always.
Please do pardon my abject ignorance...but would the R12/14 error mentioned, refer to the clockspring or the connector?

Failed to realize basis of fault was related to steering wheel exchange. Component R12/14 is driver airbag mounted in steering wheel. Without knowing part # and if original airbag was used or replacement airbag, check airbag connections inclusive of pins, etc. Attached 211 doc more or less same as 219. If all is fine may need to read/clear fault memory with SDS.

konigstiger, thank you.
The steering wheel was changed to the thicker shift paddle one (also from similar age CLS).
The fault had appeared, but Launch erased it.
The steering wheel was refitted at an angle instead of straight, so the steering wheel was simply realigned. Error came back, but Launch could not erase the fault this time.
The airbag is the same, and was not replaced.
